Description: Birdseye collaborated with an EPC partner to develop a solar hot water solution to reduce energy price volatility and supply over 100,000 gallons per day of hot water for a leading North Carolina turkey processor. This solar thermal project will provide approximately 80% of Prestage Foods’ hot water demand. The energy savings are expected to be 35% per year compared to previous Liquid Propane fuel source. When it was completed, the project was believed to be the largest of its type in the country.
